The average person processes 70,000 thoughts per day.

80% of these thoughts are negative. while the remaining 20% are positive. This statistic isn't shocking at all considering our time.

The catalyst

News and information is at our fingertips. We read negative articles, news stories and bad experiences of our friends, all online. This means we are constantly being overwhelmed with negative thoughts which aren't productive. Social media, the internet and the mainstream media have oftentimes concentrated on negative stories because they drive more traffic and generate for them Tons of revenue. Now we cant blame them for being a little selfish, can we? That's a question for another day.

Positive side of things

Let's focus on the positive side of things. Imagine you're able to use the 20% of thoughts to convert a good amount of the 80% of negative thoughts into good and positive ones. What happens?

Think about it!

You will be more creative, experience more positive stuff because you focus more on that, you would have more Energy to do good work and so many beneficial things to help yourself and society.

Take charge and control your thoughts.

And Yes! It's possible to control your thoughts to a certain degree. Begin to watch what you see on social media and the mainstream media. Monitor your phone usage and track the apps you spend time on the most. Ultimately. make some positive change to those habits carelessly formed over the years.

Being able to do this means a lot for your life and that of the community you serve. You will be able to achieve more because you concentrate on getting things done which is positive.
