You are not special in your problems.

Growing up, we are taught that we are special in every aspect and that no one else was born like us. That no one else will ever be just like us. As much as this is true, it gives us a certain paradigm which disrupts our thinking and sinks us deeper into our problems and struggles in life. As adolescents, while we are taught that we are special, we are facing problems like identity crisis, drugs, peer pressure, and several other issues.

You are not special.

We are different people but when it comes to certain things, we go through roughly the same things. Therefore, eventhough we are special beings from everyone else, we however go through similar developmental processes and situations. Therefore, we can safely say that we needn’t go through life thinking that since we are special no one will ever understand us and we are special with special problems which demans special solutions which we can’t provide. The truth is that, most of your problems are someone’s past questions. And if you are able to find such a person you can learn from them. If they conquered it, you can use their strategies too. But if they didn’t, at least you know one more way which doesn’t work. So you get less possibilites.

The deeper truth

You are most likely to find a solution to any of your problems if you stop looking at them as special problems for you. Start seeing them as everyday problems and that they have solutions. Sometimes we miss the solution simply because we think it’s a novel problem and no one has the answer yet. Guess what? The answers are in books, they’re in podcasts, they’re in biographies, etc. The question is, have you cared enough to look? Remember the old bible verse, knock and it shall open …seek and you shall find.

How your mind works

The mind works according to paradigms and Constraints we write into our code, its basically the “reality ” we create our lives from.

Our reality is nothing but our perception of life

If you reality is formed from your perception, how can this affect how you see your poebkens and the world. Once you think your problems are special and that there are no solutions, your mind stops looking for solutions and possibilities. It “Shuts down that project and closes the project files”. This is because your paradigms have told it that there’s no way out, so why bother?

Here’s what you can do

Start finding ways and means to study what paradigms you’ve set for yourself and your reality. Check if they’re limiting or liberating. If they’re limiting, you’d wanna write some new “code” or praradigms to replace them.

Develop the habit of looking for solutions for anything you come across. Even though some answers can only be found within yourself, most can be found by simply looking outside. Those which must come from yourself, someone like a life coach, consultant or a friend/family member could help you find the answers from within yourself.

To do…

Find out what’s holding you back from experiencing that break through.

What do you think of your problems?

Do you thunk of them as impossible to solve or otherwise?

Search deeper and try to change what needs to be changed.
