If you haven’t heard of MrBeast, You have probably been hiding under a rock on YouTube. Jimmy Donaldson, known on the internet as MrBeast, has been a YouTube sensation and a philanthropist. Ever since his channel became famous thanks to his viral of him counting from 0 to 100,000, Mr. Beast has been unstoppable.

From giving away full houses, and multiple Lamborghini giveaways to doling out thousands if not millions of dollars in each video he makes… One might wonder how this 24-year-old YouTuber gets his money.

Starting as a YouTuber, MrBeast failed miserably until he cracked the YouTube code. Here are some of the ways he makes his money.

The most obvious way the viral video maker makes his money is through the YouTube partner program. For showing ads on his videos, MrBeast gets a cut that could rake in thousands of dollars monthly. His main channel has amassed 66 Million subscribers since he started it in February 2012.

The sheer number of views he gains tells tales of his income since the main monetization method on youtube relies on the views the channel gets.

Mr. Beast may not aggressively promote brands in his videos but he surely does brand deals that bring him millions of dollars.

In a video titled, “How I Gave Away $1,000,000”, the Youtuber revealed how he had received a million dollars as his first check for a brand deal. He eventually gave it all away to homeless people. He said it made him happy to give. He brought the video to end with an encouraging fact about youtube payouts saying “YouTube just pays better than you think.”

This gives us an insight into the income that comes with his brand deals. And that is an insane amount for any YouTuber.

It might shock you that Mr. Beast runs his main channel at a loss for the long-term return on his investment. He also loves to give, so that makes a good combination. Mr. Beast has one main channel and 5 others featured on his main channel making a whooping 6 channels on YouTube. All of his smaller channels have more than 3 million subscribers, some of them going as high as 20 million.

In addition, the YouTuber runs channels on Twitch and other social media platforms which brings him a more than decent income. His goal is simply to make the world a better place and giving happens to be something he likes.

We all know him for crazy YouTube stunts and giving boatloads of cash away for nothing but the fun of it. But he is truly a businessman.

The YouTuber has multiple businesses which border around his interests. As a serial gamer, Mr. Beast partnered to come out with a game called “Finger on the App” in 2020. He also started a burger chain with more than 300 branches all over the country. MrBeast Burger as he calls it is an online restaurant that also sells franchises to restaurants. And the man behind it all is none other than Mr. Beast.

The list of investments Mr. Beast has engaged in is simply unbelievable, considering that he gives a lot of money out. He is an investor at Backbone, a company that makes a controller that makes smartphones appear more similar to Nintendo Switch controllers and a social media app. Current is a more recent investment for Mr. Beast. Current is a financial technology company serving the needs of Americans who are working to create a better future for themselves.

Among others, the YouTuber also invested in Xcad Network, a cryptocurrency token and marketplace for YouTubers with NFT merchandise for sale, and a company called Creative Juice financial network.
