Opportunity benefits the prepared one.
Well, I agree with that. Once you're prepared, you can catch opportunities and make a good delivery with your preparedness.

However, most often, after we have prepared ourselves and opportunity presents itself, Almighty fear starts to tickle our minds to mediocrity.

This is no comfortable situation as fear is best known for scaring us back to our comfort zones. The truth is that there's nothing for us in our comfort zones though.

What could possibly happen if you went on to do it?

I mean that idea, that business, the non-profit? What could possibly happen if you defied fear and went on as planned?

This is a question I believe answering can clear this scare crow of fear out of us.

Answering the question most often leaves me wondering what I was afraid of in the first place.
After answering it, find ways of solving realistic ones that are likely to happen.

For instance, you want to start a business. You may have thoughts that you aren’t good enough, you will fail, that you will lose all your money and so many others.

Now answering the question, what could possibly happen if I went on anyway may bring you to a point that you realise some of these are legitimate questions but most often the truth is that you have what it takes to go through with it but fear grips you that you dwell on that until the idea dies a premature death.

Answering this question would allow you to make the necessary decisions and take action to prevent those worse case scenarios from happening. This will clear your doubts and make the path clearer. Mist often fear uses the unknown to sink the ship of our dreams before it even takes off because of the so many question Mark’s we feel we cant answer. The truth is no idea comes out fully formed. So go on, ask yourself what could possibly happen? Then go ahead and prepare to execute your plans.

Go on, do it anyway!
