Our circle of friends make life enjoyable and fun for us. They help us in times of trouble and they help us go through the hard times.
Their importance and role in our lives cannot be downplayed. This we all know. I'll expose another way our friends influence our lives and future.
Our friends influence our future in a subconscious level and subtle way that we often don't see. You may have friends who don't see anything good in you. They always tease you for wanting to be a millionaire. They make silly comments and jokes about your dreams and life goals. Such behavior towards you can kill your dreams before they even become serious considerations and this is very dangerous.
You may want to start a business. The first group of people you are likely to mention it to is your friends and family. Then they say, "Go and get a job instead", "How will you get money?", "You won't survive the competition " and so forth.
All of these downplay and kill your dreams in a very subtle and unnoticeable way that we eventually get convinced and kill our intentions. It's a sad thing!
Our family also, in a bid to protect us mainly from their own individual fears convince us that our dreams won't work. They say your dreams are unrealistic. Anytime you have such an experience when you want to start something, remember
It always seems impossible until its done.
Take this from me, you'd regret things you didn't do more than things you did and failed.
Know how your circle affects you. If your friends aren't building you, encouraging and challenging you, then they're pulling you down.
