I do not claim to even have the most basic of certificates in life philosophy but this I dare write.

Life has thrown several balls at me, some curved and some straight. Some weren’t for me but I took them while some were for me but someone else took it. When you play the game of life, there are several strategies to choose from. Even the novice like me can find some path they can make some impact. By impact, I mean contribution. I think contribution and a feeling of self actualization should come before many other things we often count in the take home package of the successful man.

To make meaningful contribution, you are going to have to receive a lot of curved balls on behalf of others, though some may be yours for reall. You would have to face several disappointments and you'll find yourself getting infuriated due to the kind of attitude others exhibit toward you.

Do what is hard, your life would be easy. Do what is easy, your life would be hard.

Truth be told, no bullshiting, you’d face a lot of downsides but those won’t bother you as much as the attitude towards approach you with. Some would go all borders of the world to make sure you’re known for nothing good and yet some would go the same lengths of the earth to make sure you’re known for all your worth. You’re sure to find these two personalities. And you’d have to do hard things to keep afloat.

What do you see?

Perspective is a double edged sword
Based on your frame on life, thus your perspective, you’d equally behave towards these people in a certain way. You would either react or proact. The choice would come from your perspective. The law of attraction says you attract whatever you give your attention. Now life may be beautiful but in its beauties you can still be overwhelmed by the little imperfections you face. That’s your choice. You could also give attention to the good in life and you’d be contented with that. It’s all based on your perspective, what you see.

Ripples…

A thought into a word, a word into an act, an act into a behavior.
Your perspective drives your thought patterns. Thoughts have a chain reaction which develops into your fate, right from your attitudes developed through decades of thinking.

Throughout life, the very thing you'd like to pay much attention was well expressed by Someone I cant remember but it goes

"Stand guard at the door of your mind each day".

Your behavior determines a lot in life. I've read from sages who said your attitude determines your altitude. Now your altitude in life is a pretty big deal. And if its determined by your attitude which is also influenced by your thoughts, You'd be very proactive to heed to the saying that stand guard at the door of your mind each day.

To do

1. Leave aside a point in time in your day or week(Daily would be perfect) to take in new knowldeg from books, podcasts, magazines etc

2. Ask yourself why three times often. Once you decide to do or day something, ask yourself why. Then further question that response with why. Proceed with the third why and you'd find your reall answer.

Fun fact: We often speak and act from emotion then plant some kinda logical explanation. But with the three whys, you'd be sure to dig deep and find out if your speech or action is well meaning to you and all around you.
